My friend Ben Stevens recently published an article over at Christianity Today about how four books on filmmaking helped him in his pursuit to become a better preacher and teacher of God’s Word. Â He writes, “if your role requires you to understand great narrative, it may be beneficial to consider what it means to create great narrative.”
This is a good reminder for us as we seek to preach God’s Word week in and week out. Â We must strive to be better storytellers, for after all, we have been entrusted with the greatest story of all: God’s Story.
