Luke 8:26-39

TBQ: Will you be healed?

1. Recognize Jesus.
   1. It takes effort to deny Jesus.
      1. Even demons know and they tremble.
   2. Salvation is surrender.
      1. Orthodox understanding is not enough. You can have the most precise doctrine without love, and you will be a clanging gong all or a noisy cymbal all the way to hell.
2. Choose to follow God’s way.
   1. Reject the lies of the world.
      1. The world would tell you, for instance, that sexual satisfaction is found by giving in to pagan desires. Recent research, however, shows that the most sexually satisfied people in America are married couples who attend church regularly.
   2. The demonic leads to destruction.
3. Live your story.
   1. Your healing is God’s story.
      1. Notice that the place God has for you might be at home.
   2. Never underestimate the redemptive power of Christ’s deliverance.
